Dedication: The Very Best of Thin Lizzy is a compilation album released by rock group Thin Lizzy in The only previously unreleased track was "Dedication", which was reconstructed after Phil Lynott 's death using an old 8 track demo recording of the Grand Slam song originally recorded around and written by guitarist Laurence Archer.

Other greats on here are Emerald, Dancing in the Moonlight, Don't Believe a Word and the great Bob Seager number Rosalie. If you only have 1 Thin Lizzy album and you only want a best of then this one is probably the one to get especially at the price/5().

Thin Lizzy compilation, promoted by the single release of the 'new' track Dedication. "Dedication" was actually a track recorded by Phil Lynott's post-Lizzy band Grand Slam (4) and subsequently overdubbed by ex-Lizzy members. The song co-writer Laurence Archer, was not credited on the single and later sued (successfully) for royalties owed.
